Research Assistant: Combinatorial 4-Manifold Topology

The University of Oxford’s Mathematical Institute invites applications for a Research Assistant in combinatorial 4-manifold topology, funded by EPSRC through the Computable Manifolds grant. This is a full-time, fixed-term post for 9 months with an ASAP start.

The successful candidate will work on 4-manifold topology questions and prepare research for publication, with no teaching duties expected. The department holds Athena SWAN Silver and Race Equality Charter Bronze awards.
