Project Controls Manager – Infrastructure

Overview

In this role you will lead project controls for major infrastructure programmes in London, ensuring accurate plans, cost, safety, and performance reporting. You’ll establish GRIP-aligned control processes and optimise resources across the controls team. You will work closely with Programme and Project Managers to maintain data standards and support investment planning. Responsibilities

• Lead the programme controls function for infrastructure projects and monitor plan, cost, safety, environment and performance reporting
• Establish control processes compliant with GRIP and coordinate with the Programme Controller at project level
• Review new projects/remits and ensure realistic resource plans for delivery
• Identify resourcing requirements and liaise with planning to resolve issues
• Provide day-to-day reporting support to Programme and Project Managers on plans, costs, safety, environment and programme performance
• Ensure data input to cost and performance systems meets required standards
• Manage production of Investment Plan and comply with the Investment Competence Framework

Key requirements

• Experience in planning and scheduling functions including schedule development, control, and analysis
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Proficiency with PC operating systems and basic software
• Proficiency with Primavera (P6) and Microsoft Office applications
• Knowledge of engineering, procurement, contracts, construction, and start-up processes
• Knowledge of engineering and construction management
