C++ .NET Developer Fintech

Overview

In this role you will contribute to high-quality, efficient C++/.NET development for a major fintech client. You’ll work in a Scrum team on a large, complex platform spanning desktop and web, with opportunities to build greenfield components and risk tools. You’ll interact with cross-functional teams and, if you wish, client-facing tasks. This role suits a technically versatile developer eager to deepen experience in financial services and risk.

Responsibilities

• Participate in full development lifecycle from spec to production
• Design, implement, deploy and maintain a greenfield platform
• Create risk tools
• Potentially engage in client-facing activities
• Operate within a Scrum team of 8 and adapt to a fast-moving environment

Key requirements

• MSc or BSc in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics or Physics
• 6 years of commercial experience on the Microsoft stack
• 2+ years of C++ experience
• 2+ years of SQL Server experience (performance/scalability)
• 1+ year of Windows development
• OO programming
• Experience with .NET (ideally ASP.NET)
