Consultant, Landscape Architect / Landscape Planner – South West & Wales

In this role you will contribute to landmark landscape and urban design projects within the UK team. You will manage smaller projects independently while supporting larger ones, delivering technical landscape information and assessments. You’ll engage with clients, attend workshops, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to drive high-quality design outcomes. Responsibilities

• Independently manage small projects and support delivery of larger projects
• Prepare technical information for landscape infrastructure, development and improvement projects (strategic/feasibility, LVIA, TVIA)
• Produce preliminary/sketch and detailed design drawings including construction detailing and specifications
• Create tender and construction packages and participate in construction/post-construction inspections
• Support client relationships in public and private sectors and assist with bids
• Manage and delegate project work to junior team members
• Provide design advice in client-facing settings, workshops and stakeholder events
• Participate in internal multidisciplinary groups to promote innovation and thought leadership

Key requirements

• Degree level qualification in Landscape Architecture or recognised equivalent
• Postgraduate diploma/Masters in Landscape Architecture or recognised equivalent
• Experience delivering LVIA and related assessments
• Experience delivering landscape and urban design projects; construction phase experience desirable
• Excellent technical skills with Autodesk or Bentley and Adobe Creative Suite
• Fluent English with strong verbal, written and graphic communication skills
