Continuous Improvement Manager

Overview

As Continuous Improvement Manager, you guide Refresco’s CI strategy at the Kegworth site, driving performance and strategic objectives through practical, hands-on leadership. You identify and close gaps in quality, safety, service, and efficiency, delivering sustainable improvements across operations. You’ll act as a change agent, embedding CI tools and practices into everyday work while coaching teams and coordinating cross-functional efforts. This is a hands-on role at pace, focused on measurable impact and long-term capability building.

Responsibilities

• Lead and deploy Refresco’s Continuous Improvement methodology across all operations.
• Identify opportunities to improve quality, safety, service, efficiency, and utility use; prioritize and implement actions.
• Manage improvement projects from concept to handover, ensuring timelines, budgets, safety and quality standards.
• Coach colleagues across levels to build CI capability and culture.
• Analyse operational data and trends to drive prioritised improvements and OEE, waste, and process efficiency gains.
• Support health and safety performance through proactive problem-solving and risk reduction initiatives.
• Facilitate cross-functional collaboration to achieve site strategic goals and sustainable performance improvements.

Key requirements

• Proven experience delivering operational improvement programmes in fast-paced manufacturing (ideally FMCG).
• Strong analytical skills and ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
• Ability to lead change and drive cross-functional teams to deliver results.
