Responsibilities
- Champions best practices within the medical writing team and drives continuous service improvement
- Mentors and manages writing team members, supporting resource management, training and recruitment
- Leads content for designated accounts and maintains high editorial and scientific standards
- Provides scientific and strategic counsel on complex narratives and portfolio messaging
- Establishes relationships with external scientific experts and client teams as a trusted partner
- Proposes enhancements to programme development and leads scientific aspects of pitch development
Key requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in life sciences (master’s or PhD ideal)
- 5+ years of medical writing experience in medical communications
- Strong ability to build relationships through verbal and written communication
- Experience leading and developing junior and mid-level writers
- Ability to motivate and elevate content and maintain high editorial standards
