Senior Project Manager

Overview

As a Senior Project Manager, you will steer the delivery of large-scale renewable projects across the UK from development through to operation. You’ll lead cross-functional teams across engineering, commercial and project controls, ensuring safety, quality, on-time delivery and within budget. You will manage governance, procurement, and stakeholder engagement to realise project milestones and handover to operations. This role offers impact by shaping major wind, solar and storage assets and coordinating with contractors, landowners and regulators. Responsibilities

• Lead utility-scale wind, solar and energy storage projects from development to operation.
• Manage programmes, budgets, risks and governance to ensure successful delivery.
• Coordinate transition from development into construction, handling technical and delivery risks.
• Oversee procurement activities and manage major contracts.
• Monitor performance, forecasting, cost control and reporting.
• Build relationships with contractors, consultants, landowners, regulators and stakeholders.
• Lead multidisciplinary teams across engineering, construction, commercial and controls.
• Promote health, safety, environmental and quality compliance.
• Support commissioning and handover into operations.

Key requirements

• Experience delivering large-scale infrastructure or renewable energy projects.
• Ability to manage multi-disciplinary, client-facing teams.
• Experience with development and construction phases of projects.
• Contract and commercial management experience (EPC or major construction contracts).
• Budget forecasting and cost control experience.
• Programme governance and risk management experience.
• Stakeholder management with contractors, consultants, landowners and regulatory bodies.
• UK planning, grid, permitting and construction environments knowledge.
