Responsibilities

• Further develop and support the company’s international operating systems
• Ensure reliability, consistency, process quality and control across processes
• Contribute to multiple projects simultaneously with a flexible, pragmatic approach
• Collaborate in a relaxed, open, fast-paced tech environment
• Travel to international client offices may be required

Key requirements

• Degree in science/computing/numerate/engineering field
• Strong OO programming experience in C#, C++, or Java
• Strong database development experience, ideally with SQL Server, T-SQL procedures, functions, indexes, and query optimization
• Experience on Windows and Unix/Linux, command line, scripting, and basic system administration
• Ability to work well in a team and take ownership of sub-projects
• Interest in technology innovation and willingness to learn
• Ideally experience processing large data sets
• Ideally experience with market data providers and/or FIX protocol
• Practical problem-solving ability and clear communication of ideas/results
