Information Security Lead

Overview

As Information Security Lead, you will own the security strategy and day-to-day operations for a fast-growing, technology-driven investment firm. You will oversee the security program from AWS cloud to mobile platforms, advising IT, Operations, and Investment on risks and controls. You’ll design, implement, and manage security services and applications while balancing stakeholder needs. Autonomy from day one enables you to shape how information security supports rapid growth and a secure product offering.

Responsibilities

• Provide information security advice and assurance to IT, Operations and Investment teams
• Define, design, implement and manage the information security environment and related services and applications
• Identify, manage and remediate information security risks during project design and operational runs
• Balance stakeholder needs to achieve secure, strategic IT outcomes
• Oversee security across AWS Cloud, to mobile platforms and day-to-day information handling
• Develop and maintain security processes and documentation
• Influence security culture and governance in a rapidly growing organization

Key requirements

• Min 7 years in information security
• CISSP, CISM, CISA or equivalent
• Demonstrable knowledge of data leakage, vulnerability management and threat assessment
• Policy experience
• Linux
• Understanding of Firewalls
• Networking
• Cloud or AWS understanding (Ideally EC2)
• Excellent presentation skills
