Product Designer

Overview

As a Product Designer at Palantir, you contribute to the Palantir Design Team by shaping the end-to-end user experience of data-driven software. You’ll blend interaction and visual design with user research and prototyping, while partnering with engineers to bring ideas to life. You’ll work across concepts from initial workflow to polished visuals, applying frontend awareness to inform feasible solutions. Responsibilities

• Design and iterate on interactions and visuals across the product
• Conduct and adapt user research to validate outcomes
• Prototype to communicate decisions and validate ideas
• Partner with engineers to implement design concepts
• Maintain awareness of frontend capabilities (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, TypeScript) to inform feasible solutions

Key requirements

• Portfolio with at least one software interface design project
• Familiarity with frontend technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, TypeScript) appreciated
• Ability to communicate design rationale through mockups, prototypes, and design specs
