Overview

As OE Leader, you will steer the Original Equipment Operations & Test functions to translate business strategy into strong performance. You’ll align stakeholder needs with production activities to boost inventory efficiency, performance, and employee engagement. You’ll drive customer satisfaction through key delivery metrics, quality, and audits while shaping an end-to-end roadmap for on-time delivery and quality targets. This role offers impact across a global aerospace leader, with a focus on continuous improvement and transformational leadership.

Responsibilities

  • Lead OE Operations function (~100 staff) and foster high engagement
  • Drive customer satisfaction metrics (OTD, OQD, and escape notifications)
  • Coordinate internal/external audits (e.g., AS9100)
  • Define End-to-End OTD roadmap (>95% for OE; quality <250ppm)
  • Ensure optimal alignment between purchasing and production
  • Improve productivity and resource efficiency across Operations
  • Motivate and guide teams to meet day-to-day and strategic goals (sales, margin, cash flow)
  • Own OE Operations S&OP efficiency to deliver financial performance
  • Incorporate quality control methods into Operations

Key requirements

  • Significant experience in Operations and/or Supply Chain with increasing leadership responsibility
  • Track record of delivering delivery, financial performance, and customer satisfaction targets
  • Aerospace operations knowledge
  • Continuous improvement mindset with experience in efficiency, performance, and cost improvement
  • Program/project management experience (costs, deadlines, quality, risks)
  • Proven leadership in motivating teams to achieve goals
  • Change management and transformation leadership with collaborative coaching style
  • Resilient, adaptable to fast-paced environments
  • Excellent planning/organization and results-focused
  • Strong interpersonal skills; stakeholder and customer engagement
  • Part 21G experience (preferred)
