Overview
In this role you will lead and shape the IT Project Management Office to support the university’s IT-enabled programmes. You will work closely with the CIO and cross-functional teams to embed PMO tools, processes and governance across project lifecycles. You will establish capacity planning, effective governance, and reporting to ensure timely delivery and alignment with security and architecture requirements. This is a strategic role that drives IT project controls and returns, supporting the institution’s research and teaching missions.

Responsibilities
- Lead the IT PMO and oversee its delivery
- Embed IT-specific PMO tools, processes, and templates within the project lifecycle
- Develop capacity and resource management practices for PMO functions
- Ensure governance and reporting across projects, programmes and portfolios
- Monitor project status, deliverables, milestones and adherence to governance
- Establish IT process frameworks including testing, architecture, service design and transition, aligned with technical design and cyber security requirements
