Senior Platform Software Engineer

Overview

In this role you own a bounded platform component and evolve its contracts for multi-tenant use, driving compatibility-safe remediation. You perform deep debugging across a limited service graph and implement resilience and capacity patterns. You design and optimize software, contribute to architecture, and guide teams with adoption guidance and documentation. You work closely with cross-functional partners to ensure scalable, secure, and observable platform services that empower downstream consumers.

Responsibilities

• Own a bounded platform component and evolve its contracts for multi-tenant use
• Perform deep debugging across a limited-service graph and drive remediation plans
• Implement resilience and capacity patterns and document adoption guidance
• Design software solutions and analyze requirements to meet business and operational goals
• Lead code reviews and contribute to software architecture alignment
• Develop and test software features, ensure observability and error handling
• Troubleshoot API functionality and versioning strategies
• Collaborate across teams to understand customer issues and drive solutions
• Mentor others, advocate for customer needs, and contribute to product enhancements
• Maintain secure coding practices and compliance with development standards
• Perform maintenance and testing to ensure system availability and reliability

• Java
