Systems Administrator – Quant fund

Overview

In this role you will support and automate a diverse enterprise tech stack for a high-profile systematic fund. You’ll manage Windows and Linux environments, storage and clustering solutions, and a modern communications platform. You work closely with a global team to troubleshoot complex issues, drive efficiency, and implement automation. This role offers meaningful impact by improving user experience and infrastructure resilience in a fast-paced, technology-driven setting. Hybrid London-based work enables collaboration across cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Own diverse support and project tasks across Windows PCs/servers, UNIX servers, mobile devices, and advanced communications infrastructure
• Troubleshoot complex issues, administer infrastructure-level systems, and drive automation and efficiency
• Apply research, experience, and critical analysis to tackle unfamiliar challenges and move ambitious projects forward

Key requirements

• Genuine interest in building technology and helping users use it effectively
• Strong research and analytical skills for solving unfamiliar problems
• Proficiency in the Microsoft Windows enterprise environment and standard applications like Microsoft Office
• Familiarity with general systems administration including hardware/software support for phone, desk-side, trade floor, and remote users
