Data Architectural lead for Public Sector

Overview

In this role you will lead data strategy and advisory for public sector clients, shaping data-driven engagements across government. You will work within the Global Data & Analytics practice to scope and design data initiatives, while building strong relationships with public sector stakeholders. You will drive thought leadership and market-facing offerings, maintain a balanced mix of billable work and business development, and mentor rising leaders in the team.

Responsibilities

• Lead Public Sector data stakeholder strategy and advisory across government clients
• Engage from initial contact through sale completion, collaborating with enterprise architects and programme managers to scope, design, plan and cost data engagements
• Cultivate relationships with current and prospective public sector clients to identify data opportunities and deliver insights
• Oversee aspects of ongoing relationship management and solution assurance
• Provide strategic partner engagement to support Public Sector go-to-market initiatives
• Generate sector-specific thought leadership and offerings to strengthen market position
• Maintain utilisation target of 20% with remaining time on market-facing activity
• Coach and mentor team members to develop future leaders

Key requirements

• 15+ years in professional services with extensive public sector engagement and successful procurement wins
• 10+ years commercial experience positioning complex data solutions and systems
• 10+ years leading or contributing to end-to-end data projects
• Extensive data and analytics background in enterprise settings focusing on data and AI solutions
