Senior Associate, Business Analysis

Overview

As part of the deals analytics team, you will build and maintain valuation, exit, and integrated business plan models to support bid decisions and deal progress. You will deliver timely reports for business decisions, due diligence, and client research, shaping proposals presented to the Investment Committee. You will collaborate with internal and client teams to understand issues and drive data-driven recommendations. Responsibilities

• Analyze business data to inform new opportunities and deal performance against plan
• Develop valuation, exit planning, and integrated business plan models with scenario options
• Prepare core financial models and ad-hoc reports supporting deal monitoring and modelling
• Write up reports detailing bid rationale for Investment Committee submissions
• Conduct due diligence/audit of client financials, systems, and processes
• Research prospective clients to enable informed business development
• Manage own projects and make modelling decisions with confidence
• Build and maintain internal and external relationships to understand business needs
• Support learning and development of Associates and review their work

Key requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in mathematics, finance, accounting or related field
• 2-3 years’ experience in a relevant field
• Professional qualification or part-qualified (CIMA, CFA or equivalent)
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Ability to present own work confidently
• Self-motivated with attention to detail and multi-project management
• Willingness to travel periodically
• European languages (German/Spanish) are a plus
