Junior Implementation Consultant – Regulatory Reporting

Overview

In this role you will deliver technical implementations in the regulatory reporting domain for financial services clients. You will own projects, collaborate with presales, and guide clients through design and delivery to enable rapid value from infrastructure investments. You’ll work with cross-functional teams and front office/risk management users to capture requirements, document functional specs, and provide professional services around product deployment. This is a growth-focused position offering real ownership and exposure to multiple asset classes and regulatory initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Lead and run own implementation projects and collaborate with presales
• Provide expert technical delivery across regulatory market implementations
• Gather, analyze, and document requirements with business and IT teams
• Produce functional documentation for developers and track progress
• Deliver professional services consulting around product implementation and system use
• Provide client support, troubleshoot and resolve technical issues
• Plan and deliver greenfield implementations
• Acts as liaison between clients and Professional Services for project deliverables
• Work independently while being collaborative with cross-functional teams
• Drive problem solving under pressure and manage multiple projects of varying scales

Key requirements

• 2 years commercial experience in Implementation or Consultancy
• 2 years of software development or technical maintenance in a client-facing role
• Knowledge of software development lifecycles – Agile and Prototype approaches
• Proficient in database concepts – Oracle and/or MS SQL Server
• Strong SQL skills
• Experience in database concepts (indexes, triggers) and DB performance tuning
• Client-facing experience
