Overview
In this role you will handle a broad range of contentious and non-contentious employment matters, supporting both employers and employees. You will manage your own caseload, advise on policies and HR matters, and contribute to a growing practice within a collaborative team. The position emphasizes business development and building client relationships to generate new work. Travel to client meetings and events is expected, with a clear path for career growth. Responsibilities
- Manage a spectrum of employment matters including unfair and wrongful dismissal, discrimination, whistleblowing, TUPE, and redundancy
- Draft and advise on contracts, service agreements, handbooks, and policy documents
- Provide HR advisory support and procedural guidance to clients
- Negotiate settlements and exit terms
- Develop new client relationships and generate business opportunities
- Travel to client meetings and marketing events; collaborate across offices
Key requirements
- 3–5 years’ PQE (or similar) in employment law
- Ability to manage own caseload independently
- Experience handling both contentious and non-contentious matters for employers and employees
- Willingness to travel and engage in business development
- Open to developing skills in other areas of litigation or bringing a client following (preferred)
