Overview

As Electrical Project Manager you drive delivery of a high-spec industrial facility in Chichester, coordinating complex electrical works from design through commissioning. You will lead a multidisciplinary team, manage budgets and schedules, and ensure safety and quality across HV/LV, ELV, and process control systems. This role places you at the heart of a fast-paced industrial build, collaborating with clients and design teams to resolve issues and achieve handover-ready projects. Your leadership and technical acumen will shape the project’s success and client satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Lead electrical works from design coordination through to final handover
• Oversee installation of HV/LV, containment, lighting, small power, ELV, and process control systems
• Manage subcontractors and direct labour to ensure quality, safety, and programme compliance
• Coordinate with the client, design team, and internal departments to resolve issues
• Maintain control of budgets, cost forecasts, and commercial reporting
• Lead testing, inspection, and commissioning activities
• Ensure all work meets statutory, contractual, and company requirements

Key requirements

• Degree or trade qualification in electrical engineering
• Proven experience delivering electrical packages on large industrial projects
• Strong technical understanding of industrial electrical systems and process control
• Excellent leadership, planning, and organisational skills
• Confident communicator with strong client-facing ability
• Knowledge of relevant safety standards and legislation
