Senior/Associate Project Manager – Defence (Construction)

Overview

In this role you will support delivery of large-scale defence projects within a growing Real Estate team. You will work with design and delivery teams to manage the project lifecycle across RIBA stages, focusing on programme, risk and change management to achieve capital project goals. The position sits within a defence-focused portfolio and offers growth through expanding the defence community and client base. Responsibilities

• Day-to-day design team management at delivery level
• Own core project management tasks across RIBA work stages
• Support the overall capital project process
• Facilitate programme management, risk and change control
• Collaborate with design teams and technical disciplines
• Contribute to procurement and commercial aspects of projects (public sector framework style)

Key requirements

• SC level Security Clearance
• Excellent client care and communication
• Willingness to travel with overnight stays
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and able to manage Common Data Environments
• APM associate or equivalent
• Foundation level Project Management Qualification (PRINCE 2, APMQ etc.)
• Technical degree in engineering or earth sciences
• Experience with procurement and public-sector tenders, NEC3/4 PSC/ECC contracts (pre- and post-contract)
