Overview
In this role, you lead JLL’s Project Management practice for South West England and South Wales, steering a high-performing team to win and deliver landmark schemes. You shape regional strategy, develop client relationships with funds and occupiers, and drive integrated service offerings. You’ll oversee major projects and mentor talent while establishing market leadership. This is a strategic, impact-driven leadership role in a fast-growing CRE market.

Responsibilities
- Develop and own a comprehensive growth strategy for the region
- Lead business development, pitches, and client acquisition across South West and Wales
- Cross-sell JLL’s integrated services to maximise client value and revenue
- Build strategic partnerships with design teams, contractors, and industry bodies
- Be accountable for P&L profitability and growth
- Manage key accounts as trusted advisor to funds, developers, and major occupiers
- Position JLL as premier PM consultancy through proactive relationship management
- Network actively to grow client relationships
- Direct major new build and refurbishment projects (2m–150m+)
- Manage design teams, statutory approvals, contracts, budgets, programmes, and risk
- Implement change management and ensure successful close-out
- Lead, mentor, and develop talent in Bristol and South-West
- Attract and retain top PM professionals and create succession capability
- Foster culture of innovation, collaboration, and excellence
- Represent JLL at industry events and drive thought leadership
- Leverage network for business development opportunities
- Adopt AI-enabled tools and digital platforms to enhance project delivery
- Drive continuous improvement and share best practices across the national PM network
Key requirements
- MRICS or APM with extensive post-qualification experience in new build and major refurbishment
- 2m–150m+ project delivery for funds, developers, and occupiers with proven client relationship management
- Business development success with a track record of winning and growing strategic accounts
- Strong South-West market profile with established credibility in the region
- Proven team-building capability and track record of leading high-performing regional teams
- Ability to attract, retain, and develop top PM talent with succession planning expertise
- Established network of industry contacts in Bristol/South-West
- Evidence of thought leadership: speaking engagements, publications, or market presence
- C-suite engagement with ability to influence senior stakeholders and act as trusted advisor
- Commercial acumen in profitability, pricing, and value creation
- Strategic thinking to develop and execute regional growth strategies
- Entrepreneurial mindset with autonomy and accountability
