Overview

In this role you will drive specification opportunities in Rail, Tunnels and Transport Infrastructure, with a focus on the HS2 project across all Atkore brands. You will engage with consultants, specifiers, and end users to grow the portfolio, deliver technical and CPD engagements, and manage opportunities through to order. You will stay compliant with market regulations and maintain accurate pipeline data in Salesforce, enabling cross-functional collaboration and portfolio expansion. This is a product and solution leadership role within a dynamic, standards-driven market.

Responsibilities

  • Engage with consultants, specifiers and end users to identify specification opportunities in Rail, Tunnels and Transport Infrastructure markets
  • Focus on HS2 project representation across Atkore brands
  • Ensure regulatory compliance and communicate upcoming industry changes to Technical and Quality teams
  • Develop market-specific CPD and deliver CPD seminars (Lunch and Learn) to consultants and specifying engineers
  • Manage specification opportunities through to order placement with BDMs and RSMs
  • Maintain and update Salesforce for pipelines, quotations and activity within the portfolio
  • Develop and maintain a pipeline of upcoming projects to maximize exposure to Atkore products
  • Gain in-depth technical knowledge of Cable Management systems and apply it to proposals
  • Offer technical solutions and DfMA options to the market as a differentiator
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Key requirements

  • Rail and infrastructure market experience
  • Strong network with consultants/specifiers/end users
  • Salesforce experience for pipeline and activity management
  • Technical knowledge of Cable Management systems
  • Ability to present and deliver CPD sessions
  • Understanding of DfMA concepts
  • Track record of developing and maintaining project opportunities through to order
  • Relationship building with stakeholders
  • Effective communication and presentation skills
