Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end audit engagements from planning to reporting, ensuring compliance with UK GAAP, IFRS and ISA/UK Audit Standards
- Perform complex audit procedures (revenue recognition, financial instrument valuation, critical estimates)
- Supervise and mentor junior staff, providing guidance for growth
- Conduct risk assessments and design audit strategies based on client risks
- Maintain quality control and accurate documentation throughout the audit lifecycle
- Prepare and finalize working papers, letters and reports
- Act as main point of contact for client finance teams and external advisors
- Utilize advanced Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, macros) and Word for modelling and reporting
- Share knowledge through training and firm-wide improvements
- Collaborate with tax teams on integrated engagements
Key requirements
- ACA or ACCA qualification
- Minimum 3 years post-qualification audit experience
- Proven track record managing end-to-end audits across multiple industries
