Senior Quantity Surveyor (Main Contractor) | Permanent | West London

Overview

In this role you will manage commercial delivery for a major West London mixed-use scheme on a long-standing main contractor. You will work within a project-focused team to drive cost control, procurement, and contract administration on a 100+ unit development that includes a new school and residential facilities. You contribute to successful project outcomes by ensuring financial discipline and effective stakeholder collaboration. This is a chance to shape a large, high-profile education and housing project with a reputable contractor.

Responsibilities

• Manage cost control and financial reporting on a large mixed-use development
• Oversee procurement and subcontractor commercial activity
• Administer contracts and variations to protect project margin
• Maintain commercial processes and governance for the West London project
• Collaborate with site teams and clients to resolve commercial issues
• Support final account and cost-to-complete forecasting

Key requirements

• Degree / HND Qualified
• Strong experience with reputable Main Contractor
• Track record on large commercial/mixed-use schemes
• Excellent all-round commercial skills
• Able to commute to West London daily
