Structured Notes Engineering Lead

In this role you will lead a global engineering team to design and deliver a next-generation structured notes issuance platform. You will own architecture, drive scalable, resilient solutions, and collaborate with front office, structuring, trading, and operations to enable rapid growth. You will combine hands-on technical leadership with people development in a fast-paced markets environment. Responsibilities

• Lead a team of ~15 engineers to drive delivery, performance, and technical excellence
• Own the architecture and design of the issuance platform for scalability and resilience
• Deliver high-quality, business-critical functionality aligned to front office and operations
• Hands-on leadership across Python, Java, React, MongoDB, OpenShift, and Camunda
• Define and enforce engineering standards, best practices, and development processes
• Partner with global stakeholders to translate complex business needs into scalable solutions
• Collaborate with global teams to ensure consistent platform delivery
• Drive continuous improvement through modern engineering practices, automation, and DevOps principles

Key requirements

• Strong experience leading and developing engineering teams with delivery focus
• Hands-on technical background in modern software development (Python, Java, microservices, cloud-native)
• Proven ability to design and deliver scalable, resilient platforms within complex environments
