Continuous Improvement Leader (DBSL)

Overview

In this DBS Leader role, you drive sustained performance improvements at the Newquay site by deploying the Danaher Business System to raise KPI performance across safety, quality, delivery, and productivity. You will lead DBS-enabled problem solving and daily management, coaching teams, and shaping policy deployment to enable continuous improvement. The position offers a chance to influence site-wide lean initiatives and help transform operations at a globally integrated life sciences company.

Responsibilities

• Drive DBS-based optimization of Safety, Quality, Delivery, Inventory and Productivity across the site
• Facilitate and lead regular Operations meetings and coach teams in structured DBS tools
• Develop and sustain Policy Deployment frameworks, Bowler Charts, Action Plans and Problem Solving Processes
• Manage DBS leadership processes including Daily Management, Kaizen funnels and action plan sustainment
• Collaborate with Cytiva functions to remove roadblocks and optimize performance
• Identify and execute DBS-driven optimization work packages for yoy improvements
• Develop and maintain a DBS roadmap for site functional areas

Key requirements

• Degree in Engineering or Business preferred, or demonstrable experience
• Experience in process improvements using lean manufacturing methodology
• Strong cross-functional communication skills across all levels
• Ability to operate in a multi-tasking, dynamic environment with a customer-first mindset
• Proven track record in optimizing KPIs around Safety, Quality, Delivery, Inventory and Productivity
• Ability to energize, develop and influence at all organizational levels
