Senior Project Controls Engineer – Planning – Bristol & Cardiff

Overview

In this role you will support delivery of major transport and utilities infrastructure in the South West, collaborating with multi-disciplinary teams. You will combine schedule and cost data to drive monthly reporting and governance, with a focus on digital tools like Power BI. You will work closely with the Project Controls Manager to apply processes and ensure assurance across projects. This is a hands-on role that offers exposure to high-profile programmes and wider UK opportunities in a dynamic, collaborative team.

Responsibilities

• Collate progress data to update Primavera P6 schedules
• Collate cost data to support budgets and cost reporting
• Prepare monthly progress reports against baselines
• Support training and communication for digital reporting tools (Power BI)
• Assist in governance and assurance of Project Controls processes

Key requirements

• Graduate in a relevant discipline with some project control experience
• Experience in project/programme management with delivery or controls responsibilities
• Experience using Primavera P6, Power BI, and Microsoft Office applications
• Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
• Strong time management and meeting deadlines
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Full UK driving license
• Working knowledge of Primavera P6, Predict, ARM or Power BI would be advantageous
