Overview

In this role you lead the delivery of responsive maintenance for WPS clients, ensuring safe, efficient, high-quality works. You inspire a cross-functional team and drive customer satisfaction while optimizing resources across large multi-trade repairs. You partner with commercial teams to resolve invoicing and maximise contract performance, and foster a positive safety culture. This is a hands-on leadership position with meaningful impact on community services and service standards.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and inspire a team of Supervisors, Administrators, Planners and Operatives
  • Drive customer satisfaction and continuously improve service delivery
  • Oversee scheduling and delivery of large multi-trade repairs with appropriate resources
  • Manage operational performance, productivity and quality across the contract
  • Ensure policies and procedures are followed across the workforce
  • Collaborate with Commercial teams to resolve invoicing issues and maximise contract performance
  • Champion Health & Safety compliance and foster a positive safety culture
  • Build strong relationships with clients, customers and internal stakeholders
  • Monitor performance against KPIs and drive continuous improvement initiatives

Key requirements

  • Previous experience in a Repairs Manager role or similar in reactive maintenance, repairs or social housing
  • Strong knowledge of reactive maintenance operations
  • Proven track record of managing large maintenance contracts
  • Experience leading large operational teams and supply chain partners
  • Excellent understanding of Health & Safety legislation and compliance
  • Strong commercial awareness and experience managing budgets and performance
  • Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to influence and build relationships at all levels
  • Highly organised, customer-focused and results-driven
  • Full UK Driving Licence
