Responsibilities

• Underwrite Credit and Political Risk in line with appetite and strategy
• Develop and maintain strong broker and market relationships
• Assess complex risks and make commercially sound underwriting decisions
• Support portfolio growth through proactive business development
• Collaborate with underwriting, claims and operations to deliver service
• Monitor portfolio performance and market developments for opportunities
• Contribute to underwriting strategy and portfolio management initiatives

Key requirements

• Experience underwriting Credit & Political Risk in Lloyd’s or London Market environments
• Strong analytical and technical underwriting skills
• Ability to build and maintain effective broker relationships
• Commercially minded with focus on profitable growth
• Comfortable in a dynamic, entrepreneurial environment
