Senior Quantity Surveyor (Main Contractor) | 65,000 – 70,000 + package | Permanent | North West London

Overview

In this role you will lead cost and commercial management on a flagship 45m, new-build research facility in North West London. You will work within a national main contractor to drive projects from pre-construction through to final accounts. You will manage commercial risk, procurement and subcontracts while delivering autonomous oversight across multiple projects. This position offers the opportunity to shape high-profile public and commercial developments within a reputable contractor environment.

Responsibilities

• manage cost control and commercial performance across projects
• coordinate procurement and subcontractor packages
• administer change control and risk management
• prepare budgets, forecasts and interim reporting
• progress and value assessment towards final accounts
• lead contract administration from pre-construction to close-out
• maintain compliance with contract terms and reporting requirements

Key requirements

• experience with a reputable main contractor
• experience on a range of commercial projects
• strong commercial skills and knowledge
• ability to work autonomously on multiple projects
• capable of delivering from pre-construction through to final accounts
• Full UK driving license
