Overview

As an Associate at Moelis & Company, you will perform rigorous financial analysis, build valuation models, and support senior bankers on cross-border advisory and execution projects in the EMEA Industrials team. You will collaborate with diverse internal groups and clients to shape strategic decisions through M&A, financing, and restructuring discussions. The role combines analytical rigor with leadership responsibilities in a fast-paced, goal-driven environment. You’ll contribute to high-profile transactions and help expand the firm’s presence in the market, leveraging a collaborative, entrepreneurial culture.

Responsibilities

• Perform in-depth financial analysis and modeling for business and economic forecasting
• Identify market trends and regulatory changes to secure opportunities and expand market presence
• Construct financial models and valuation analyses, including M&A comparisons
• Interpret investment and economic data to assess risk and future potential
• Assist in preparing offering memoranda, transaction documents, and client presentations
• Collect industry, regulatory, and financial data to forecast future potentials
• Manage a team and coordinate with senior bankers and clients

Key requirements

• Excellent analytical and presentation skills
• Knowledge of basic accounting and financial concepts; ability to analyze and value businesses
• Some experience in Investment Banking (corporate finance/M&A) or equivalent
• Results-driven and able to perform under pressure and tight deadlines
• Proven team player with ability to interact with diverse internal groups and clients
• Strong multi-tasking skills
• Strong Microsoft Office suite (Excel a must) and financial reporting skills
