Overview
In this role you apply drilling domain expertise to craft technical solutions that improve customer performance and publish successful outcomes. You serve as a senior technical expert within the local organization, translating products and concepts for customers and identifying opportunities to extend services. You lead design work for drilling service requirements, conduct risk analyses, and share lessons learned to enhance future operations. You mentor peers and guide field personnel on technical complexity, while collaborating with customers on objectives and requirements. This role offers impact through technical leadership and direct customer interaction in a world-class energy services
Responsibilities
- Develop technical solutions to improve customer/PSL performance for assigned geography
- Prepare and deliver drilling service design specifications to customers
- Identify opportunities for additional services and new technologies for existing customers
- Perform risk analyses and apply lessons learned to future operations
- Conduct post-job reviews and contribute to failure investigations
- Mentor less experienced team members and provide technical guidance to customers and field personnel
Key requirements
- Undergraduate degree in STEM
