Overview
In this role you will carry out fire risk assessments across Peabody properties and produce clear, actionable reports to support compliance and safe homes. You’ll work independently within a collaborative Fire Safety Team, contributing to continuous improvement and a strong safety culture. You will engage with stakeholders to identify and manage risks, and you’ll have opportunity to pursue professional membership and accreditation.

Responsibilities
- Undertake fire risk assessments across nominated properties
- Review existing fire precautions and ensure high‑quality FRA reports are uploaded on time
- Use fire risk assessment systems, prioritise work and liaise with operations to resolve issues
- Build relationships with internal/external stakeholders and provide clear safety advice
- Contribute to quality assurance by sharing best practice and learning
- Develop skills and professional standing as the service evolves
Key requirements
- Experience conducting fire risk assessments in residential premises
- NEBOSH Fire Safety qualification (or equivalent) and Tier 2 level with relevant training/certification
- Ability to work independently with strong time management and analytical skills
- Strong communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences
- Membership of a professional body such as IFE or commitment to pursuing it
- Driving licence useful but not essential
