In this role, you drive sourcing, buying and range management for Tesco’s Prepared Foods, spanning private label and branded products. You will shape propositions for health, convenience and global cuisines, while capitalising on seasonal opportunities across summer, Christmas and Easter. You lead a market‑leading sourcing strategy focused on cost benefits, supply security and CSR requirements, working with cross‑functional teams to deliver strong growth. Responsibilities
- Execute a market‑leading food offer in collaboration with technical, product development and supply chain teams
- Develop and manage branded and own‑brand suppliers to meet customer propositions and business targets while ensuring quality
- Build a long‑term category strategy focused on sustainable growth and market out‑performance
- Create Buy/Move/Grow plans with suppliers to optimise manufacturing, logistics and sales efficiency
- Manage deflation and CPI risks and negotiate a strong commercial position
- Forecast and manage budgets and deliver profit targets with cost discipline
- Ensure compliance with Tesco policies, training, and GSCOP requirements; document agreements and report GSCOP issues within 48 hours
