Senior Civil Engineer

Overview

As a Site/Civil Engineer in London, you will help plan, design, and permit civil/site development and infrastructure projects. You’ll work on mixed-use developments, shopping centers, residential and education projects within a collaborative, learning-driven team. You’ll apply your design and analysis skills to steer projects from concept through permitting, contributing to sustainable, well-planned communities. Responsibilities

• Assist in preparing and updating engineering documents (reports, specifications, plans, schedules, cost estimates) using AutoCAD, Civil 3D and related tools
• Assess soil, terrain, hydrology, topography and geology from maps, drawings and tests to inform planning and design
• Familiarity with current local, state, and federal land use permitting is a plus
• Collaborate with team members on project tasks and assignments
• Perform other duties as requested

Key requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering
• 5+ years of relevant site/civil design experience (site planning, grading, stormwater management, drainage, soil erosion)
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and Civil 3D
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong attention to detail with analytical, multitasking and judgment capabilities
• Demonstrated ability to follow direction and work in a collaborative team environment
• Availability to work approximate hours 10:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.
