Investment Banking Senior Analyst, Energy

Overview

In this role you help clients raise capital and provide strategic guidance on mergers and other transactions within Citi’s Institutional Banking group. You will work closely with senior bankers on client deals, developing financial analyses and proposals that support deal execution. You will build valuation models, conduct research, and prepare materials for pitches, contributing to Citi’s advisory capabilities. This is a hands-on, fast-paced position with a regulatory-trained environment and a focus on delivering clear client insights.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with senior Banking officers on client transactions as a junior team member
• Organize and analyze complex financial data for proposals and strategic plans
• Prepare written recommendations, valuation materials, and exhibits for pitches and live deals
• Conduct economic/financial research to support decision-making
• Evaluate company performance against industry and market trends
• Develop and build complex financial models for valuation purposes
