Implementation Consultant OMS / Execution

Overview

In this role you lead implementation projects for OMS/EMS systems, interfacing with clients to ensure successful deployment of the vendor’s software. You will drive technical integration with trading platforms using real-time messaging and data workflows, guiding customers through project lifecycles. The role combines solution design, client management and hands-on configuration in a fast-paced fintech environment. Responsibilities

• Lead project implementation lifecycle end-to-end
• Interface with clients to manage expectations and ensure successful deployment
• Architect and implement technical integrations between client systems and vendor software
• Design and deploy solutions using XML/FIX messaging, XSLT, JavaScript/Java/C#/VB/Perl
• Configure databases and perform related data/schema tasks (SQL/ODBC/triggers)
• Coordinate across cross-functional teams and vendors; promote smooth project execution
• Support potential progression toward country management or senior sales paths

Key requirements

• BSc or MSc in IT, economics, mathematics or finance
• Experience of software implementation
• Proficiency in JavaScript/C#/Java/VB/Perl
• XML / XSLT
• Messaging: FIX or SWIFT
• Networking: WAN/LAN, routing
• Database design and SQL (ODBC, triggers, stored procedures)
• Unix/Windows
• Client-facing experience
• 2 years commercial experience
• Understanding of data
• Experience at a software vendor in financial markets
• Background in financial software
