Overview
In this role, you will help safeguard our customers and the business by conducting financial crime screening and investigations. You will work within a small, high‑ownership team to assess risk on new applications and existing accounts, using screening tools against PEPs and sanctions lists. You’ll review profiles and transactions to identify suspicious activity and take appropriate action, including reporting where required. The role blends data‑driven decision making with collaboration and process improvements, supported by AI and automation to enhance efficiency. Responsibilities
- Conduct financial crime screening checks and investigations on new applicants and existing customers
- Use screening tools to match data against PEPs and sanctions lists and assess risk
- Review customer profiles and transactional activity to identify financial crime risks and take appropriate action
- Submit internal Suspicious Activity Reports when required
- Support the Financial Crime Team with additional tasks as the business grows
- Assist with onboarding reviews and ongoing monitoring of accounts
- Monitor activity and transactions and escalate risks to mitigate financial crime
Key requirements

- Previous financial crime experience is advantageous (screening and KYC)
