Lead Software Engineer – AM/UX

Overview

As a Lead Software Engineer in Markets Technology, you drive the design and delivery of trusted, scalable tech products for high-traffic enterprise websites using AEM and modern web stacks. You will be a core technical contributor, shaping solutions across multiple domains to support business objectives. You’ll lead technical discussions, mentor teams, and collaborate with external vendors to ensure secure, production-grade software. Responsibilities

• Develop and implement AEM components, templates, and workflows for enterprise websites
• Build user interfaces with AEM and modern JavaScript frameworks
• Translate wireframes from Figma into web interfaces using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
• Deliver secure, high-quality production code and review peers’ code
• Identify and automate remediation of recurring issues to improve stability
• Lead evaluation sessions with vendors and internal teams on architecture and feasibility
• Lead communities of practice to promote new technologies across Software Engineering
• Contribute to an inclusive team culture of diversity and respect

Key requirements

• Proven experience in Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) development and implementation
• Strong frontend web development foundation
• HTML5 and CSS3 (required); SASS
• Extensive JavaScript (ES6+); JQuery and/or TypeScript
• Experience with AEM architecture, components, templates, and workflows
• Proficiency in RESTful APIs and asynchronous request handling
