Estimator / Quantity Surveyor (Social Housing) | Permanent | High Wycombe, Buckinghamshire

Overview

In this role you will join a growing social housing team within a main contractor, delivering cost and quantity insight across new build, fit out and refurbishment projects. You will work on projects valued between 500k and 10m, supporting Housing Associations through a framework. This is a dynamic, expanding business offering a permanent position with opportunities to shape cost strategy and delivery. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive value, reliability and high-quality workmanship in a housing-focused portfolio.

Responsibilities

• Provide Estimating or Quantity Surveying expertise on social housing projects
• Manage project values from 500k to 10m across new build, fit out and refurbishment
• Support framework work with Housing Associations to grow the social housing portfolio
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure value, reliability and high-quality workmanship
• Adapt to the expanding and dynamic nature of the contractor’s social housing business
• Based in High Wycombe and contribute to regional project delivery

Key requirements

• Experience as Estimator or Quantity Surveyor
• Track record with a Social Housing specialist Main Contractor
• Experience working on projects under Housing Association frameworks
• Knowledge of cost management and commercial processes in construction
