Overview

In this role you will lead the configuration and daily management of the project data environment, ensuring secure, well-structured document control. You will work closely with project teams to implement procedures, train users, and produce KPI reports that support project governance. The position sits at the intersection of document control, BIM standards, and project delivery, contributing to Turner & Townsend’s growth and client outcomes. This is a hands-on role that combines technical admin with stakeholder engagement, offering the chance to shape how teams collaborate on complex projects.

Responsibilities

  • Configure and manage the CDE/EDMS, including user accounts and security groups
  • Act as primary point of contact for CDE queries and document control processes
  • Deliver CDE and document control training sessions and maintain training logs
  • Create and maintain system user guides and training materials
  • Produce weekly KPI and workflow reports and conduct QA on issued documents
  • Set up new project sites on the CDE and assign users
  • Provide ad-hoc reports on system usage and compliance
  • Support project teams with process improvements and documentation governance

Key requirements

  • 8–10+ years of senior document control experience
  • Proficient with ViewPoint (EDMS/CDE) at administrator level
  • Strong knowledge of BIM ISO 19650 standards
  • Experience with KPI reporting and quality assurance for documentation
  • Ability to perform gap analysis and consolidate procedures
  • Experience writing communication protocols and delivering workshops
  • Security clearance or ability to obtain it
  • Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills

  • Ability to manage priorities in a dynamic project environment
  • ViewPoint administrator experience
