Overview
In this role you will work as a leveraged finance associate in a US law firm’s small London office, advising on a broad set of financing matters. You will collaborate with cross-border teams to support acquisition finance, high yield offerings, bridge and mezzanine financing, and syndicated facilities. The position offers breadth of work, strong progression potential, and a collaborative culture. This is a client-facing, deal-focused opportunity with meaningful impact within a high-caliber practice.
Responsibilities
- Advise on acquisition finance, high yield bond offerings, bridge financing, mezzanine financings, and syndicated credit facilities
- Draft and negotiate facility agreements and related documentation
- Coordinate with cross-border teams on leveraged finance transactions
- Assist with deal execution and regulatory/compliance aspects as needed
- Contribute to business development and client relations in the leveraged finance space
Key requirements
- 3-5 PQE
- England & Wales qualified solicitor
- Experience in leveraged finance within a London law firm, preferably US/MC/SC firm
