Mobile Gas Engineer

Overview

In this role you will maintain gas appliances and related systems across client sites, ensuring safety, reliability, and compliance. You will work within a multi-disciplinary team to meet SLA targets and complete planned and reactive tasks. You’ll diagnose faults, perform repairs, and manage documentation and permits, collaborating with subcontractors when needed. This position offers exposure to diverse environments, with opportunities to influence maintenance standards and safety practices.

Responsibilities

• Carry out planned, reactive, and emergency maintenance on gas appliances and associated systems
• Support plumbing and basic electrical maintenance tasks
• Diagnose faults and complete repairs within contractual timescales
• Complete all documentation and certification accurately and on time
• Monitor subcontractors and issue permits for small works as required
• Regular PPM tasks as required

Key requirements

• City & Guilds Level II/III or equivalent
• Commercial gas qualifications: COCN1 or CODNCO1 (CCN1), TPCP1 & TPCP1A, ICPN1, CIGA1, CDGA1, CORT1
• Knowledge of health and safety and safe working practices
• Basic electrical knowledge and plumbing experience
