GUI Software Engineer

Overview

As a GUI Software Engineer you will build cross-platform desktop software for Linux, Windows and macOS, delivering robust, user-focused applications. You will own hands-on development and collaborate across software layers, writing high-quality C/C++ code. This role sits in a collaborative hardware software team at a Cambridge site with a strong ownership culture. You will shape desktop experiences for a global user base and contribute to innovative hardware solutions.

Responsibilities

• Develop cross-platform desktop software for Linux, Windows and macOS
• Write and review high-quality C/C++ code
• Own end-to-end issues and collaboratively deliver robust GUI applications
• Work with multiple software layers to deliver user-focused software
• Onsite role in Cambridge with a hands-on, ownership-driven approach

Key requirements

• Strong C++ desktop development
