In this role you will handle a varied contentious probate caseload in a Devon firm with hybrid working. You will work within an expanding team, supporting the firm’s growth and delivering high-quality estate and trust dispute work. Responsibilities
- Handle a broad range of contentious probate matters: Inheritance Act claims, contested wills, executor and trustee disputes, and equitable interest matters
- Advise clients on complex estate and trust disputes
- Manage your own caseload with appropriate supervision
- Support business development and contribute to team growth
- Provide high-quality client service and maintain strong client handling
- Participate in training and development opportunities and contribute to a collaborative culture
Key requirements
- Qualified lawyers with experience in contentious probate
- Experience in Inheritance Act claims, will disputes, executor disputes or equitable interest matters
- Paralegals or trainee legal executives seeking to build a career in contentious probate
- Strong communicators with excellent client handling skills
- Organised, proactive, able to manage a busy caseload
