Overview
In this Banking & Finance role, you will support banks, borrowers and private equity on a broad range of mid-market to investment-grade financing, including syndicated and bilateral facilities. You will draft, negotiate and advise on loan facilities, security, intercreditor docs and leveraged finance transactions, while coordinating cross-border matters. You’ll work closely with partners and other teams to deliver commercial, high-quality solutions and help develop client relationships. Responsibilities
- Drafting and negotiating loan facilities (senior and mezzanine) and security documents
- Advising on leveraged acquisition finance and corporate lending transactions
- Drafting asset-backed/receivables finance and project finance documentation
- Handling cross-border transactions and coordinating with overseas counsel
- Advising on ISDA and hedging/credit support documentation
- Structuring matters and collaborating with other practice areas
- Supporting business development and maintaining client relationships
- Providing general banking advice and coordinating with corporate, real estate, pensions and construction teams
Key requirements
- Qualified lawyer with relevant post-qualification experience (3–6 PQE reflected)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience running high-value transactions with minimal partner supervision
