Overview

In this role you will lead on-site delivery within the Special Works Division, overseeing refurbishment projects up to 1m in value for a well-established main contractor. You will ensure projects are delivered efficiently and to a high quality, collaborating with cross-functional teams to meet client expectations. You’ll focus on smaller refurbishment/extension schemes across Education, Healthcare and Commercial sectors, driving safe, compliant and timely outcomes. This is a regional opportunity centered in Swindon, with a clear path to leadership within a trusted contractor known for long-term client partnerships.

Responsibilities

• Oversee projects within the Special Works Division (refurbishment/extension up to 1m)
• Lead on-site delivery and site operations for multiple small schemes
• Ensure high-quality delivery, safety and compliance on projects
• Coordinate with clients, subcontractors and internal stakeholders to meet project targets
• Support bid and handover activities as part of project lifecycle

Key requirements

• Degree or relevant construction qualification (ideal)
• Experience with a reputable Main Contractor
• Track record on smaller refurbishment/extension projects up to 1m
• Experience in Education, Healthcare or Commercial sectors
• First Aid, SMSTS, CSCS
• Full UK Driving Licence
• Able to commute to Swindon daily
