SQL Technical Consultant – Regulatory Reporting

Overview

In this role you will deliver technical integration for regulatory reporting platforms, applying your SQL and data integration expertise to implement end-to-end solutions. You will work with Implementation and QA across multiple platforms and projects, balancing independent ownership with cross-functional collaboration. You’ll estimate effort, document build work, and uphold high development standards within a regulatory context. The position offers responsibility and impact in a trusted, London- or Frankfurt-based consultancy.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate cross-platform integration
• Develop platform and solution understanding at functional and technical levels
• Implement end-to-end regulatory reporting solutions from specifications
• Ensure unit testing and quality standards are met
• Provide timely estimates to project managers
• Write and maintain build documentation
• Work independently while collaborating with Implementation and QA
• Manage multiple projects of varying scale with problem-solving and decisive action

Key requirements

• 3+ years of software development in a technical or functional analysis capacity
• Strong written and verbal English in business and technical contexts
• Knowledge of software development lifecycles – Agile and Prototype approaches
• Proficient in MS SQL Server
• Data Integration, SAS or Business Objects
• Data configuration
