Overview
In this role you will provide credible regulatory guidance to the Ratings business and key support functions, helping to navigate evolving rules. You will partner with Legal, Risk Management and other teams to address compliance issues and report to senior management. You will drive awareness through training and contribute to committees and governance forums. The role offers high visibility and impact on the firm’s independent, objective ratings culture.

Responsibilities
- Provide a credible, responsive compliance advisory service to Ratings and support functions on regulatory obligations and emerging matters
- Perform compliance reviews, risk assessments, and monitoring, identifying weaknesses and recommending corrective actions
- Collaborate with Legal, Risk Management, In-Business Controls, and People teams to route issues and escalate potential violations as needed
- Prepare and deliver compliance reports for the CCO UK and regional management, including materials for EMEA Ratings Compliance Committee and Board meetings
- Participate in committees and advise CCO UK and senior management on significant regulatory developments
- Design and deliver compliance training for new joiners and for updates to policies
Key requirements
- 5 to 7 years of relevant compliance experience in financial services, investment banking, a credit rating agency, regulatory consultancy, or a regulatory body
- Ability to stay current with evolving regulatory requirements and apply analytical judgment
- Experience advising senior stakeholders on complex compliance matters
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with ability to translate regulatory information into actionable guidance
