Insolvency Partner – Bristol

Overview

In this role you will lead insolvency and restructuring engagements for businesses and individuals in Bristol. You will work closely with clients, drive strategic options, and oversee complex cases while mentoring junior staff and ensuring regulatory compliance. The role combines technical insolvency expertise with commercial insight and client management in a leadership capacity. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver effective outcomes within UK insolvency law. Responsibilities

• Advise clients in financial distress and assess insolvency options
• Administer CVAs, CVLs, administrations, IVAs, and bankruptcies
• Negotiate with creditors and manage fund distributions
• Ensure compliance with UK insolvency laws and regulations
• Investigate director conduct and identify wrongful trading if necessary
• Mentor and develop junior team members

Key requirements

• JIEB qualified and licensed by a recognised Insolvency Licensing Body
• Minimum five years’ experience in insolvency or financial restructuring
• Strong technical knowledge of insolvency law and financial matters
• Excellent negotiation, communication, and client management skills
• Proactive, organised, detail-oriented, and commercially aware
• Flexible and willing to travel to meet client needs
